I took the liberty of taking an autumn walk and whilst on my merry little way. Quickly into it, I started to notice the rabbits, birds, squirrels, and such frantically scurrying to stock up some of Mother Nature’s bounty.
I had to collect a few items for a narrative puzzle project.
Once home, I was enamoured over the teasel’s spikey structure. I started to draw using a very fine nib pen (0.1) to try to get the geometric patterns. Alas, I was too excited, and it ended up a much “free-er” quick sketch.
Whenever I draw, I have my tutor’s voice in my head, draw what you see, not what you think. Then my mind wanders down the creative whole of possibilities, and I’ve lost my hand. I started well, and the intentions were there.
I will have another go at this, taking time to look at what is there, forgetting it’s a teasel, drawing what is there!
