Planting Platonic

This was an interesting task. We were asked to draw dots on the page, in various specific points, and then surround those points with the platonic shapes again in various specific ways.

The idea behind this exercise is linked to the planting plan, with the 3,5,7,9 or ODD planting a better choice. These objects/plants can be arranged in different scales, with contrasts creating juxtaposition and dynamism.

On reviewing the finished article, I noticed, that I have either placed these points central or around the external edge. There must be a subconscious reason why I have done this. I will have to analyse this further to truly ascertain why. It may be linked to “keeping to my comfort zones”: The centre and the edge are common points of reference.
