This was done using a water pencil 2&4B.

Having watched a Kathryn Gustafson lecture about Park Central Valentia, I was interested in how she used a bowl specific to the local area and applied this as the concept for your design. From this, she explored space and form, with subconscious push and pull directing us through spaces influenced by the lines, mass and voids.

When out walking, I saw many horse hooves in the mud and was taken by the shapes created around the impressions of the horse’s shoes.

I will aim to develop this further to see if I can create spaces to transform into areas detailed in our brief.
