When sketching these, I was thinking of what lines created the texture and 3D aspect of it. How could I portray the patina, luminosity, and transparency through basic line drawings.

I am not a fine art artist, so this skill is not easy to explore, but it was an interesting exercise on how I can create texture, shadows and 3D with minimal effort.
