With a huge involvement from local residents, this site was built with both the ecologies and the local community in mind from the off.
They have taken a climate-forward approach designing for 100-year events to ensure there is sustainable longevity within the design.

The site is made of two parts, creating a juxtaposition between the north and south sides. This creates exhibits in wild and engaging areas where visitors can get lost in exploration alongside the traditional botanical approach. This is a refreshing design aspect, and, in my opinion, many botanical gardens are repeats of each other.

Throughout the whole site there are many art installations creating community continuity.
