Brown Hart Garden is, in fact, a roof garden above a substation, resulting in an efficient, straightforward, but elegant design. With Café addition, this space offers the locals, tourists, and businesses a peaceful, reflective area to enjoy throughout the year.

Design inspiration seems to have been pulled from the neighbouring buildings, with the dark grey colour palette picking up the weathered roofing beyond.

The raised bed mimics the window formations from the surrounding buildings, which create continuity and a sense of place. The eye recognises the pattern, and it fits into the area.
