This blog is an insight into my design process and interests.

Allowing exploration of anything that may aid my journey into becoming a landscape architect.

It’s Strange

“I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true I’m here, and I’m just as strange as you.”
Frida Kahlo

Frida Kahlo by Guillermo Kahlo (father), 1932.

Trying to find myself as a designer over the past few years is slowly developing. I’ve always been a bit “eccentric” compared to many others, maybe a bit too much for some. but in the world of design, that is beef to the Bolognese.

I’m really starting to explore my creativity and (slowly) believe in my skills. Not to be embarrassed of being inferior as everybody’s skills and specialities differ.

I love to work with my hands, build models, and get to feel the spaces I create. Being able to experience the landscape with the wind (and now rain) on my face. How do we experience the spaces we travel through, what will impart on us?

It’s an excitement, an experience, and it’s mine to create.
