This blog is an insight into my design process and interests.

Allowing exploration of anything that may aid my journey into becoming a landscape architect.

The day in the field.

To create a phase one habitat survey, we have an initial visit to our prospective site.
initially, I was not daunted by the identification. But as we walked around the site, my identification skills, especially now the leaves were dropping, didn’t seem to be up to scratch.

By chance, on my clipboard, I had a leaf identification sheet, which I used with my niece when on a nature walk, and for the trees that were still in leaf, it actually came in very handy!

This is just a reminder I must make plant identifications as important as my everyday project work.
