I’ve been struggling going from a 1 acre site to an 80 acre site in design and so I have gone back to the almost drawing board to work with the zone areas I had originally organised.

The original pattern is too busy and although in time I could bring these lines back in detailing, for now, its looking at the mass and void of the areas. Each time I overlayed I used more an more “simpler” shapes until I found areas that worked in the location.

I then inputted this in to the layout and spaced it across the area.

Now this is no fancy design yet, but it has spaces of the right scale that work in the area and is linked to the concept and theme.
