I have been trying to research alternative visualisation techniques to improve my drawing skills.
I love using a fine tip liner with a restricted pallet render. Often they are “scratchy” drawings, like those done, whilst out on a walk.
Here I have slowed down the drawing and introduced some comedy narrative. Sadly some of my fine liner wasn’t strong enough to come through on the scan, but this is a minor hiccup.

The drop fill rendering may need the opacity turning down also, but all in all, I really enjoyed this style of drawing. It is clean, professional, but has character.
I will try out a few other styles over the next few weeks, and then decide the technique for the real ones!
