A Conversation That Clicked

This week, I had an interview with a multidisciplinary practice, and it felt like more than just an interview. It felt like a two-way conversation with passion about the industry.

I had the chance to present my work and talk through my process, and I was genuinely encouraged by how receptive and interested the team was. They asked thoughtful questions, picked up on details I care about, and made it clear that they value both creativity and individuality. It was refreshing to see an approachable team, and it was exciting.

What stood out most was the natural conversation we had. The studio’s collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach really resonated with me, and it felt like we were speaking the same language, both in terms of design values and work culture. We got on so well, and by the end, I left feeling energised, inspired, and hopeful.

Now, it’s just a matter of waiting to see if I’m the right fit for them, but I know for sure they’re the kind of team I’d love to be part of.

Fingers crossed.
